first snow of the season

We woke up to a winter wonderland Sunday morning. Now for you guys that live in the north this is nothing but for this southern girl this was amazing. We got around 5 inches of snow and it was so beautiful.  

At the end of our driveway our road was quite without cars or people bustling about it was lovely. We bundled up in our warmest clothes and took a walk down the middle of the street. 

As I am writing this the snow is falling from the trees and slowly disappearing. I hope we get another good snow before the end of the season. I love the coziness and serenity of it.

Our home got all dressed up in snow and was showing off to the neighbors. With its stark brick contrast to the snow it stood out among all of the white.
