Finally Spring

This is by far my favorite time of year. Everything comes back to life after months of cold darkness. The plants and trees explode with color and people start to emerge from their hibernations. 

We moved to Fredericksburg VA right after Christmas. In the dead of winter. After spending 3 months updating our new home the weather has turned and we have started exploring. We live all of 50 minutes from DC and a quick train ride to the majority of the North East coast. 

Downtown Fredericksburg seemed like a good place to start though. We wandered the streets admiring all of the adorable homes and soaking up the spring weather.

Next city for exploring will have to be DC. 

No idea what is happening here. I think it's an excellent pose though.
