A Grilled Pizza Backyard Party

Throwing a fun backyard get-together is definitely one of my favorite things. Generally I reach for the easy go-to burgers. I can make regular burgers for all the meat eaters and for my vegetarian friends/family just do a veggie burger. Easy peasy. Well this weekend I decided to do things a little differently.

Started off the party with a few appetizers. The basics, chips and salsa, hummus and veggies.

I was scouring Pinterest like a crazy person trying to find something else to cook that would work for everyone and be fairly easy to prepare as well as not super expensive...my prerequisites for party food. Also something that doesn't take me away from the party, stuck cooking half the time.

So with that being said, this is where Grilled Pizza comes in.

These below are the flour ones, I picked up balls of pizza dough in the deli section of the grocery store.

These however are homemade GF ones. Here is the recipe I used. I just replaced flour with GF AP flour mix.

These babies are delicious and quick to cook. Also everyone can individualize their pizzas which is very helpful for picky eaters.

I gave everyone some toppings to choose from, sauce, cheese, basil, pepperoni, red onions, tomatoes,  and carmalized onion.

I laid everything out so people can make their own pizza. Used some pre-made dough from the grocery store, cooked the dough on the grill, let people top their pizzas and then my husband finished them up on the grill. A side salad to compliment the pizza and some grilled peaches to finish off the meal. (recipe for those is to come)

Now, go forth and grill some pizza! It's delicious and super easy.
