Obe- My New Fitness Routine


I used to work out consistently in college and then I go out of college and well ya know...life happens. So here we are..a good many years later and I really needed to start a workout routine again. I will let you in on a secret. I hateeee working out. like passionately despise it. But I will also be the first to admit that it for real helps me mentally. I always feel better afterwards. 

So with that being said, I went about trying to motivate my lazy butt to workout again. I am not a gym person and when I did go to the gym I legit just used the treadmill. For me paying for a gym membership just for use of the treadmill was not worth it so I did some research.

 I kept seeing ads for this program called Obe and was super skeptical however you could get a free week and you could cancel before you were charged the monthly fee so it was worth it to at least try. 

Well low and behold it is awesome. I love it. This is how it works. There are classes you can join through the app or you can just replay classes. You also have the ability to use your Apple TV by casting your phone onto your TV through the app. There is a variety of classes you can take including cardio, sculpting, prenatal, yoga, ballet, stretching..I mean everything you would like all from the comfort of your living room. 

I am less than motivated to drive to the gym but if all I have to do is play a video and walk to my living room I can handle that. All of the instructors are right there with you but in a studio in NY. It is nice to know other people are doing the class with you (and suffering along with you as well) They also have classes from 10-45 minutes long. Anyway, go forth and try it. I promise it is at least worth  looking into.
