Green with excitement...to leave the house eventually.

Dress // Sundry (sold out of green but coral is available)

Trying to get back into blogging and taking pictures after a few months of taking off. I started school again this past January and between that and the pregnancy and then the pandemic I just couldn't bring myself to work on this. I do the blog as a creative outlet and for fun after all, so I wasn't about to do it if my heart wasn't in it.

Now that I am back into the swing of things and not being able to leave the house, I have some time on my hands. With the weather warming up and being able to get pictures outside again, I decided to jump back into the blog.

I also realize most people are not shopping right now, which is perfectly fine. For myself and I am sure other pregnant women not being able to try on clothes or go to the store to buy things for our ever changing bodies is challenging..to say the least.

I finally got fed up with nothing in my closet fitting I did something about it. I was on the hunt for cute clothes that I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg on, that fit. I decided to go the rental route.

A lot of the clothes you will see on the blog from here on out will be rented from Rent the Runway. For me, I decided I would rather pay a monthly fee for an ever changing wardrobe that I can swap out when things don't fit anymore rather than paying for clothes that I can only wear until the baby is born. That seemed silly to me, why buy a new wardrobe if you can't use it for years to come?

So with that in mind, don't feel like you have to purchase anything, shop your closet or rent! I needed something to feel like myself and cute clothes was my answer. There is so much happening right now that I have absolutely no control over and the ability to put on a cute outfit every day is what I needed in my life.

I have a post coming up about what I am doing to get through this stay at home order and what makes me smile and get through each day.

Thanks for sticking with me!
